Help with Two PC setup with laptop

Greetings,

 

A friend recommend me to here, I am new to all of this. I was thinking of buying this laptop (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-15-6-chromebook-intel-processor-n200-8gb-memory-64gb-emmc-natural-silver/6535992.p?skuId=6535992) for the two pc setup.

 

Will this laptop work? Also besides the VIP and Membership do I need anything else? Like a cord to connect the two pc, etc...

 

Do I need DMA hardware, and Pool FW or Custom FW?

 

Thanks for your help, looking forward to trying this out. Just want to make sure I have everything before I spend hundreds of dollars...

Unfortunately the laptop you sent will not work.
Spec wise it would be fine. However, Chromebooks are not supported as they run on the ARM CPU Architecture, same goes for Macbooks.
Windows for ARM does exist, our software does not work on that though.
Anything that is not Chromebook or Macbook will work fine, if you have an old laptop/pc laying around that usually works just fine.

You need a device that can run normal windows for this to work.
Minimum specifications are:
Windows 10 / 11
4 Cores
4GB RAM (More is recommended)
