Safe vs Not Safe.

Recommended Posts

Good afternoon all,

First of all i want to say thanks for having me, i appreciate it. but my main question is, i was advised that certain games not safe to play with a dma installed. (valorant for example) i tried to look but i didnt see, is there a list of games that should not be played with a DMA installed? Like i play Texas chainsaw massacre and call of duty. are those games for example safe to play with my DMA installed? or will those games detect i have the DMA installed even though im playing those games legit? or do i have to limit myself to the one game that i got the DMA for?

once again i apologize if this has been answered, i just did not see the thread.

Thanks in advance!

You don't need to remove the card for any games.
It will stop functioning on games that use vanguard etc but it's not unsafe.

so if a game detects it, and it stops functioning, when i go back to playing EFT, will my card work like normal again? or will it be ruined. like there isnt any game that will ban my account for having the card installed? even though i dont have any hacks for that specific game?

as long as you're on latest firmware you'll be fine.
Some pople like to go the extra mile and unplug/killswitch when they don't use it.

If you're not on latest firmware you might want to be careful on EAC games
If the card is blocked, by let's say vanguard, you will need to reboot the PC afterwards to get it working again.

So its just blocks dma and no bans etc?

This depends from anticheat to anticheat.
Vanguard normally only blocks and does not bans.
However, Fortnite bans it and doesn't block it.
It's hard to say how all the games work.

I think it's difficult to determine an exact list of games that are safe or unsafe to play with DMA installed. Compatibility and potential issues may vary depending on the specific game, the DMA software being used, and how the game interacts with system-level components.
Best regards

Still, I would like a warning list of unsafe games. It will be very useful for new users.

We don't have, and probably there is no way to make a list of this type, since everything depends on the firmware you have installed on your dma.
