That's free to play game right? The question is who is the majority of player base? If that's a Minecraft type of game with people not willing to spend money on it, I'm not sure if there will be a lot of sales. Look at BF2042, not many people bought it.. many game updates + few subscribers = not worth looking into this. I would go into direction with Arma Reforger & Arma 3.

If all security measures are enabled on the card like 3D secure, SMS conformation, in banking app conformation, you aren't using VPN, you are using correct details from card when making purchase - and you still can't purchase the goods, that means that payment processor can't accept that payment from you. Maybe they mark you as high risk of chargeback and they deny automatically the purchase. You can try purchasing it via alternative method like Uwe said, using reseller.

As long you play legit, there is nothing to worry about. You can google yourself what server sided anti cheat can do, it's mostly effective against rage cheats.
