AMD vs Intel? What would you choose and why?

Hey everyone,

Been pondering over the AMD 7800X3D and Intel 14600K for my next rig. Always been an Intel person for that single core performance in the games, but AMD's stepping up their game, with multicore. I see more and more games getting optimized for multicore setup.

Thinking of switching to AMD this time. What's your take on these two? Anyone here made the jump from Intel to AMD recently?
