Hello Everyone, Hey, thanks for the reply! Sorry if I’m being a bit of a pest, but I’ve got a question about my main PC setup. I’m running a 3090 Ti, and it’s blocking my PCIe 3.0 x1 slot, which sits right under the PCIe 5.0 x16 slot (the one with the steel frame is where my GPU is installed, and you can see the PCIe 3.0 slot below it). I’m wondering can I install my DMA device in the PCIe 3.0 x16 slot at the bottom instead? Once I figure this out, I’ll be all set. For reference, my motherboard is the MSI MAG Z690 Tomahawk DDR5. I asked ChatGPT if a PCIe x1 device could go into a x16 slot, and it said it works fine since smaller cards can fit into larger slots. I just wanted to double-check with you all to make sure my DMA device will work properly in a x16 slot.
