Questions About DMAs and System Compatibility

I was thinking about getting started with DMAs. I'm not sure if you can help me with this, but I’d like to know whether they actually offer better security or if the level of security remains the same.
Also, regarding the second computer.  does it have to be a Windows PC, or would a Mac work as well?

DMA offers the best security as the entire solution runs on your second PC. 

Regarding the second PC, it is preferred that you use a windows PC. However, a Macbook can work if it has an intel CPU

A question about this. My first computer would be an AMD computer, and my second would be an Intel T480 notebook with 16GB RAM and an i5 processor. Will the second PC be sufficient?   Are there compatibility issues with AMD and Intel?  Are there problems with Gigabyte motherboards and DMA cards?

Second PC -> all good, good specs

AMD CPU -> No Issue, DMA should works like a normal

Gigabyte -> a bit problematic... some users have issue with that so we recommend avoid gigabyte for DMA stuffs.

The issue isnt with the CPU just with Gigabyte Mainboards i guess.
