2 PC DMA, CAN THE GAMING PC BE A LAPTOP?

so im wondering if i can run a gaming PC as a laptop via DMA device. before i purchase a laptop for my DMA. does anyone have experience with this or use this method personally?

Hey man, I think you misunderstood the requirements. 

Additional Requirements

• 2 PC / Notebook (Min spec: 4GB RAM / 2 Cores)

 

That means, you can have any Windows based device with at least 4 GB of RAM and two cores.

 

If you will have gaming PC with 24 cores and 64 GB of RAM that will work too!

Edit: Just to clarify this, you will need 2x device, not like you will run it on one PC. Example:

• Gaming PC 24 cores and 64 GB of RAM as DMA Hardware
• Gaming PC 24 cores and 64 GB of RAM as your device where you play

You can indeed use a laptop but you will need a Lightning to PCI enclosure. I currently use the same on an Intel NUC
