Troubleshooting ESP Game bar widget These are the most common issues you would come across when trying to install the game bar widget. 1. I executed installer.bat but the widget does not show up Spoiler Most likely your game bar is not up-to-date causing the installation to fail. We will go through these steps first. Another possibility is that you are missing essential windows packages. More info on this further down these steps. Disable the Windows Update Blocker if you have Windows updates blocked. If you do not know where you left the tool, you can re-download it here: https://www.sordum.org/9470/windows-update-blocker-v1-7/ Go to your Windows Menu, search for "Microsoft Store" and open it Click library on the bottom-left of the Microsoft Store Followed by the "Get updates" button top-right All updates will be downloaded now. This might take a while. If you do not see "Xbox Game Bar" as an app in the list of your Library, you do not have Game bar installed. Let's install that now. Click on the "Get" button and wait for it to download. After a while the "Get" button should disappear and all you can see is "Open". As the final step, re-run the installer in the ClutchEsp folder. Make sure you extracted the files from the ClutchEsp ZIP Do not rename anything, do not move the folder or files within this folder after you ran installer If everything went succesful, you should now see a new app with a random generated code and a CS icon in your Xbox Game Bar Widgets list. Make sure you click the star so it gets pinned to your bar on top. Widget installation still failed/don't see the widget in the widget menu? Then it's possible that you are missing required app packages in order to install the widget. Installers.rar Download the Installers.rar file above, open Explorer, navigate to your `C:` drive and move the file Installers.rar you downloaded here, then right-click -> Extract Here Now go to Windows Menu, type in "PowerShell" and click 'Run as administrator'. In this PowerShell window, copy and paste, followed by pressing enter for these three lines one by one: add-appxpackage –path "C:\Installers\Microsoft.NET.Native.Framework.2.2_2.2.29512.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe.Appx" add-appxpackage –path "C:\Installers\Microsoft.NET.Native.Framework.2.2_2.2.29512.0_x86__8wekyb3d8bbwe.Appx" add-appxpackage –path "C:\Installers\Microsoft.NET.Native.Runtime.2.2_2.2.28604.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe.Appx" After these steps, you can close PowerShell and should be able to install the widget again. Navigate to ClutchEsp folder and click the installer. If everything went well, you should now have a widget with a CS logo in your widget menu. If these steps above did not fix your issue, please open up a support ticket on our Discord server. 2. When I launch the widget I get an error saying "Something isn't playing nice" Spoiler This error occurs when you move the Clutch Esp folder or its' contents after you installed the widget. Uninstall the widget by going to Windows Menu and right-clicking the ESP widget that you installed If you still have ClutchEsp.zip (zip, not as folder) on your computer, you can extract it to a location of your choice. If not, re-download it again by going to https://play.clutch-solution.com and clicking 'Download [ESP]' bottom-left after logging in. It's important that you do not rename any files or folders and after you used the installer to not move the folder to a different location After this action, you should see a new widget in your widget menu on your Xbox Game Bar which should work 🙂 3. When I load the widget, the buttons are greyed out and/or I can not click them Spoiler This is normal behaviour. They will become available eventually, usually within 5 minutes. If it takes longer than 5 minutes, close the widget by pressing the X and launch it again by clicking on the CS logo. 4. When I start my widget it just keeps infinitely loading Spoiler If your ClutchEsp folder is located inside a OneDrive folder, you will likely come across this issue. Move it to a different file location that is not using OneDrive, for example "C:\ClutchEsp" The first time you start the widget it can take up to 10 minutes for the buttons to show up. Should the buttons not show up after all this time and you still see the loading spinner, simply close the widget and start it again If this did not solve your issue, restart your computer. If after these steps it still keeps loading for longer than 10 minutes, consider uninstalling the widget and reinstalling it. If all of this did not solve your issue, please open a support ticket in our Discord. 5. My ESP boxes are not aligned with players/items in the game Spoiler If your ESP boxes are not aligned with the game, open Xbox Game Bar and disable click-through, then re-enable it again. This should automatically make the widget align itself with your resolution. Should this not fix your issue, right-click your desktop (wallpaper) and click 'Display settings' Under 'Scale and layout' there's a dropdown menu for text/apps/other items size, set this to 100% Restart your widget and everything should be aligned correctly. If this is not the case, please open a support ticket on our Discord. Edited December 5, 2022 by TechnologyZ Quote Link to comment
